Downtown Streetscape and Utility Improvements, Phase II

The project includes the following: Furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for the construction of a the Downtown Streetscape and Utility Improvements Phase II, which generally consists of approximately 2,250 feet of pedestrian streetscape improvements along both sides of Washington Street from the intersection of EE Butler Parkway to Bradford Street, both sides of Bradford Street from Washington Street to Brenau Avenue, the north side of Spring Street from EE Butler Parkway to Bradford Street, and the West side of Green Street between Spring Street and Washington Street. The improvements include new concrete sidewalks, brick pavers, street trees, landscaping, pedestrian lighting, site furnishings, and asphalt paving. Utility improvements in the project area include approximately 825 LF of 8" PVC sanitary sewer pipe, rehabilitation of approximately 230 LF of 8" sanitary sewer with cured in place pipe liner, approximately 125 LF of 6" and 350 LF of 12" ductile iron pipe water mains, and approximately 1250 LF of 18" and 24" reinforced concrete storm drainage pipe. A utility duct bank approximately 900 feet long with also be constructed within the project limits.
