Description | **As of July 7, 2023, project was awarded to Black & Veatch Corporation. but awarded amount is not available.** The Negotiating Committee shall meet with the firm ranked as "first" to develop the final scope of services and negotiate terms, conditions, and compensation. If an agreement with the firm ranked as 'first' cannot be reached, the negotiations with that firm shall be terminated. The project will include the installation of one (1) or two (2) collector wells at locations yet to be determined in or near Lincoln's existing wellfields. The project will also include connecting discharge header(s) to existing pipelines that deliver source water supply to the Ashland East Water Treatment Facility. Professional services requested as part of this RFP include selecting a location for wells that provide suitable pumping rates and water quality, developing project design and bidding documents, and construction of the wells and pipelines. Overall, the project is to provide reliable, long-term source water supply capacity to meet the full build out capacity of the Ashland Water Treatment facility. In general, professional engineering services will include normal and customary project engineering design, environmental regulatory approvals, water supply permitting, preparation of bidding documents, bidding assistance, construction administration services to accomplish the Project Requirements and maximize use of the federal ARPA grant.
