Y--Box Canyon Recreation Site

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement near Maricopa, AZ. The project includes the construction of designated short-range and long-range firing area with associated steel target structures and grading for earthen berms. Roadway stabilization using grading methods. Construction of low-water crossings and pipe culverts. Construction of gravel-surfaced parking areas and access driveways at specifically identified locations with associated vehicle restriction barriers. Installation of fencing restricting vehicular access to shooting platforms and delineating hazardous exclusion areas and associated signage. This project also requires the installation of prefabricated vault toilets.
