The Delivery and Installation of Greenhouse at Johnson-Williams Middle School

1. The size of the greenhouse shall be 12'4" wide by 16'7" or larger. 2. The greenhouse shall have automated roof vents or an exhaust fan. 3. The greenhouse shall have electric wiring and switch(es) to operate the automated roof vents or exhaust fan. The County shall provide the electricity to the greenhouse. The selected vendor shall provide the conduit within the greenhouse and a connection point for the County’s contracted electrician to make the connection. 4. The greenhouse shall have a heavy duty aluminum frame and roof. 5. The greenhouse shall have a minimum of 6mm twin wall polycarbonate panels. 6. The greenhouse shall have a minimum of a single door on each end. Each door will have a lock. The selected vendor will deliver a minimum of three keys to the Maintenance Director at the completion of the job. 7. The greenhouse shall have a gravel floor with a weed barrier beneath the gravel. 8. The selected vendor shall provide an engineered stamped drawing of the greenhouse. 9. The greenhouse must meet and pass all Building codes, including snow loads and wind loads. 10. The selected vendor shall provide a one-year warranty for the greenhouse. The warranty will start when the final invoice is paid and will cover all material, equipment, and labor costs. 11. The vendor is responsible for any signs, construction fencing, etc. to ensure the safety of those around the jobsite.
