County Road 65 (Attapulgus Highway) Scop

The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified persons, companies, or corporations interested in providing construction services for the following project: County Road 65 Attapulgus Highway. The project will include the widening, resurfacing, and installing paved shoulders on CR 65 (Attapulgus Highway) from SR 12 to the Georgia State Line. Also included will be drainage improvements to accommodate the widening of the roadway and signage and striping improvements. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be $200.00 per day. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid submittal. After the deadline, the bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders.
