| Description | 1. Remove existing EDPM rubber roof and dispose of properly 2. Remove existing ballast aggregate and set aside for reuse - Do not overload the building structure - Remove loose fines and dirt before re-installing rock ballast 3. Install new fan fold ½ insulation board. Existing insulation to remain. 4. Damaged insulation will be replaced on a T&M basis per bid form 5. Install new 60mil Carlisle rubber roof membrane with 3” Factory Applied Seam Tape 6. Install new base flashing up over high walls 7. Flash watertight all roof penetrations per 20-year Carlisle details 8. Install new prefinished 24GA coping at parapet. (color selection by owner) - Metal Edgings shall be included in the manufacturer’s warranty - Metal edgings shall meet ES-1 ratings per Kentucky Building Code 9. Provide Mfg. 20-year Golden Seal Warranty 10. No subcontracting of the work - Submit names of employees who will be working on the roof before work commences 11.Roofing contractor to be certified by EDPM Mfg to install rubber roof |
