Transportation Building Prototype

Selection of an A/E Professional Services Firm, where the method of compensation is based on a reuse fee and other methods of compensation depending upon the project’s scope of services. he design of the Transportation Building will include a school bus and fleet maintenance facility, and parking areas. The building must be equipped with three (3) double-length bus/vehicle drive-through servicing bays, bus and vehicle lifts, and necessary servicing tools and repair equipment. The design of the building will include office space for administrative and support staff, and also include space for meetings and training staff. The building will also require a breakroom, restroom facilities, 250 lockers, and a lockable storage space for bus and vehicle parts. The facility must also support the ability to fuel 200 school buses with diesel fuel and regular fuel for fleet vehicles; the fueling of vehicles will occur every day. Also included will be exterior bus washing facilities.
