Description

Work under this section shall consist of the in-place recycling of an existing pavement. The pavement will be pulverized to a specified particle size, mixed with a specified depth of existing base to a maximum overall depth of twelve inches (12”), with calcium chloride (and water) added as required, graded and compacted to the required grade and cross-sections. Where necessary the contractor shall modify the existing sub-grade (raised, lowered or modified with additional aggregates.
