Description

1. The complete restoration of the Fire station servicing the Coleman A. Young International Airport. 2. Remove and replace damaged concrete sections at the entrances to the garage housing the fire trucks. This occurs on the West and East entrance to the garage bays. 3. One of the fire truck bays must be increased in width by approximately four feet (4 LF). This is a structural change that must be evaluated thoroughly. Specifications for the actual size of the opening will be provided by airport operations. In addition, any finishes or structural elements that are impacted by this change must be included in the restoration of the same. 4. Restoration of the diesel exhaust system is included. Complete replacement is the base scope however, if the system can be repaired to provide proper operation and value to the airport. 5. Restore the heating system in the garage and the support building. 6. Provide new hot water tank in mechanical room. 7. In corridor, restore wall board and ceiling. 8. Review 9. Kitchenette area: a. Provide new wall and base cabinets; new sink and faucets and associated piping b. Remove existing flooring and provide new LVT c. Restore drywall ceiling 10. Room adjacent to Kitchen (North side): a. Upgrade existing annunciation system b. Convert this room into an office as requested by airport management; i. flooring to be LVT. ii. New wall paint finishes (typ) iii. Restore ceiling as required c. Verify operation of existing windows; repair as necessary 11. Room across the hall from Kitchen (future Sleeping Qtrs): a. Remove and replace existing flooring with new LVT b. New wall paint finishes c. Verify operation of existing windows; repair as necessary d. This room will accommodate three (3) people. A dividing wall will be provided to keep one of the sleeping quarters separate from the others. This room shouldn’t be less than 1/3 of the total area e. Restore bathroom sinks and toilets to operation condition. If new fixtures are required, it is included in this S.O.W. 12. The generator must be restored to be functional for operations. Reportedly, the generator hasn’t been activated in the past 10 years. If the generator can be restored, this is the optimum decision and considered base scope. However, submit Add alternate pricing to provide a new generator.
