Description | This project is considered Phase 2 and would complement the previous project executed in 2014. The existing batting cages, pitching tunnel, video room, concessions and toilet areas are either inadequate in size and/or not organized in an efficient manner. Additionally, there will be an enhanced fan experience space, with a multi-purpose space and a terrace to overlook the field. The Phase 2 would create new interior batting cages, pitching lab and video room under the existing third base stands. The video room will house additional equipment and servers for the video playback & analysis, pitching and hitting analysis systems that will contain additional cameras throughout the cages and lab. These spaces will be directly accessed from the field, dugout, existing home team interior spaces via the weight room, and from upstairs through the new multi-purpose Heritage Hall. A stair and elevator will provide access up to concourse and rooftop level. Minor interior renovation upgrades will also be made to the official’s locker room to allow for dual use as an alumni locker room, these include new lockers, paint, and carpet. The Concourse level includes new concessions, restrooms, and ticketing to improve fan experience, as well as a new multi-use Heritage Hall. The multipurpose Heritage hall will function as new front door to the stadium, providing an entry off a space large enough to accommodate a full team and staff meeting. This space will also be utilized as a hospitality event space on both game days and non-game days. |
