| Description | Culverts, associated watercourses, closed drainage systems, drainage structures, and manholes shall be cleaned as directed by the Engineer to restore unobstructed free flowing drainage. Materials removed shall be disposed of in accordance with Standard Specifications “Disposal of Surplus Excavated Materials”.cleaning culverts, associated drainage watercourses(adjacent/upstream/downstream), inlets and outlets, and closed drainage systems, including drainage structures and manholes, so that adequate, unobstructed free flowing drainage is restored. The work includes the removal and disposal of debris and sediment from culverts, associated ditches, inlets, and outlets, and closed drainage systems, including drainage structures and manholes and Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC). |
