Asphalt Resurfacing

This project provides for the resurfacing of the Turnpike from milepost 306.39 to milepost 309.62 and milepost 311.29 to milepost 312.32 eastbound and westbound lanes with superpave asphalt material. The project also provides for slab stabilization, concrete pavement patching, installation of S.N.A.P., Highly Reflectorized Pavement Markings, and post mounted signs. Maintenance and Protection of Turnpike traffic is also included. . Work items include, but are not limited to: 8,738 TON Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG 64E-22, 10 to < 30 Million ESALS, 12.5mm Mix, SRL-E 18,975 TON Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG 64E-22, 10 to < 30 Million ESALS, 19mm Mix, SRL-E 156,188 SY Milling of Asphalt Pavement Surface, Various Depths Either: 114,355 GAL Asphalt for Slab Stabilization Or: 100,061 LB Polyurethane for Slab Stabilization 40,742 EA Sonic Nap Alert Pattern (S.N.A.P.) 365 SY Post Mounted Signs, Various Types 693 LF 24” White Hot Thermoplastic Pavement Markings 104,109 LF White and Yellow Highly Reflectorized Polyurea Pavement Markings, 6” and 8” Widths
