Red Twig Trail Road Improvements

The project location is the entire length of Red Twig Trail in the Borough of Bloomingdale, County of Passaic, State of New Jersey. The project limits begin at Star Lake Road and end at the cul-de-sac. The project length is approximately 2,735 linear feet (0.518 miles). Reconstruction of existing storm inlets; installation of storm drain pipe and storm inlets; removal and replacement of concrete curbs; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons; construction of new sidewalk ramps for disable persons; asphalt road resurfacing; and, guide rail. The main items of construction and approximate quantities include, but are not necessarily limited to: reconstruction of twelve (12) storm inlets and replacement of castings; installation of twelve (12) new precast concrete storm inlets including castings; installation of 1,300 linear feet of combination storm and underdrains using 15" diameter perforated HDPE; 6,200 linear feet of Portland cement concrete curb; 1,800 square yards of Portland cement concrete sidewalks, four (4") inch thick; 800 square yards of Portland cement concrete reinforced driveway aprons, six (6") inch thick; 11,500 square yards of asphalt milling; 1,500 tons of hot mixed asphalt surface course, two (2") inches thick, mix 9.5 M64; four (4) sidewalk ramps for disabled persons; removal and replacement of 275 linear feet of guide rail, including two (2) end treatments.
