Description

The team interested in providing these services must demonstrate and document experience in the following: 1. Water distribution asset management; complaint resolution; water and wastewater valve & flow diversion gates assessment, operations and maintenance, ranging between 2 and 120 inches in size; Assessment, operation, and maintenance of water system fire hydrants; In-situ assessment and repair of large valves, 16 inches in size and larger. 2. Responding to emergencies associated with water main breaks and leaks. Preparing and executing planned shutdowns in support of water main renewal, replacement and assessment projects. Conducting fire flow tests, flushing, large meter pitot testing, and leak detection of water mains. Providing infield or classroom training to City crews if required. 3. Ability to handle large data sets and leverage it to draw conclusions about the condition of the system. Electronic collection of field data associated with assessment, operation, and maintenance of valves and fire hydrants, and data integration into GIS. 4. Experience with Federal, State and Local regulations and permitting requirements. 5. Experience in developing and managing an overall contract team with both Minority and Women Business Enterprises throughout the duration of the project. Demonstration of meeting or exceeding minority goals on previous projects performed is desirable. 6. Execution of similar scope projects within the last 5 years.
