Melrose Streetscape Project

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work include sawcut, removal and disposal of existing AC, PCC and miscellaneous roadway and parkway improvements, cold milling, roadway narrowing and construction of new curb and gutter, median curbs, curb extensions (bulb-outs), sidewalks, curb ramps, driveways, DGAC base course and ARHM surface course/overlay roadway pavement, special colored/decorative sidewalk paving and concrete pavers, traffic and wayfinding signage, traffic striping and pavement markings, traffic signal and IRWL construction, construction of new fiber optics system, new EV charging system, removal of existing and construction of new street, pedestrian and landscape up-lights and receptacles, new parking meters, new street trees, landscape planting and irrigation system, Silva Cell construction, new street furniture including benches, trash cans and bike racks, reinforced PCC foundations for new art elements/sculptures, VCP sewer main and manhole construction, catch basin relocations, new RCP storm drain pipe, collars, manholes, junction structures and appurtenances, utility adjustments, traffic control and construction phasing, and all appurtenant work other items not mentioned that are required by the plans and specifications.
