Safran Roof Repairs

The objective of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to seek proposals for the roof parapets repairs 1804 8th Street Mobile, Alabama (SAFRAN). The enclosed documents provide instructions, background information, and the required proposal forms from which Respondents are to develop their formal proposals to the Airport. There is no expressed nor implied obligation in these documents for Mobile Airport Authority to reimburse responding organizations for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this RFP. OVERVIEW Complete roof parapets repairs and indicated below: 1. Taxes are excluded; materials are Own paid. Include material cost in bid. 2. Remove existing coping and metal wall panels to expose framing. 3. Install new 5/8” CDX plywood on all both sides, top and corners of wall. 4. Exterior Side; a. Install continuous SA membrane on vertical face exterior side of plywood. b. Install new flush-mount standing seam wall panels, engaged to clips fastened 24” oc. 5. Roof Side; Install new horizontal 60 mil TPO roof base flashing fully adhered in membrane adhesive, turned across horizontal and turned down vertical exterior side. 6. Coping; a. Fabricate and install 22 ga G90 steel continuous cleat. b. Fabricate and install 24 ga Kynar steel coping with return-hems, engaged to cleat, side face fastened 16” oc with #12-14 sheet metal screws. 7. Install corner trim with 24 ga Kynar steel with closed hems. 8. Roof plan, parapet section and photos shown within Attachment D
