Description

** This project has been awarded to Dore and Associates. ** The City of Auburn Hills is soliciting proposals for the removal of contaminated soils and groundwater on the Property located at 3180 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan. The City of Auburn Hills (Property Owner) purpose is to excavate and backfill approximately 11,000 tons of petroleum impacted soils (from a diesel release) and approximately 100,000 gallons of petroleum impacted groundwater (from a diesel release) at the subject property. A copy of the proposed areas of soil removal are included in Attachment 1. A copy of the Final Assessment Report is included in Attachment 2. Due to the nature and location of the contamination and planned downtown summer activities, the City of Auburn Hills would like to plan on all field work being completed in August 2022 with a start date of August 1, 2022. Mobilization of equipment should occur the week prior to August 1, 2022. At the time of this specification, the site is vacant and the monitoring wells within and near the excavation area have been properly abandoned. All known utilities have been cut and capped at the property boundary. The scope of work for the project involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, services, and incidentals (necessary items not specifically mentioned) and any debris.
