Three different design options are requested, 1. Panel Truss Pedestrian Bridge 2. Welded Steel Pratt Truss Pedestrian Bridge 3. Welded Steel Modified Bowstring Pedestrian Bridge Prospective bidders may submit bids for one (1) two (2) or all three (3) design options. Option 1 shall be galvanized steel. For options 2 and 3, bidders are asked to provide pricing for galvanized steel, painted steel, and A588 steel options. Services requested for all three options include: 1. Structural Engineering Provide a New York State PE stamped design package that adheres to AASHTO Guide Specification for the Design of Pedestrian Bridges, latest edition, AASHTO LRFD latest edition, NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges and the NYSDOT Bridge Manual. Design for AASHTO 90 PSF Live Load and H-10 Vehicle Load. Account for additional dead load of 115 lbs/lf to carry a 4" fiberoptic conduit across the bridge. 2. Manufacturing Manufacture structure according to specifications provided in this RFB. 3. Delivery/Freight Deliver Structure to 839 Kenwood Ave. Slingerlands, NY 12159 4. Installation Provide add/alternate pricing for installation 5. Traffic Control Provide add/alternate pricing for traffic control 6. Inspection Services Provide add/alternate quote for bi-annual bridge inspection services
