Description

The primary goal of the project is to design a replacement bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad on New Buffington Road which runs between US 25 (Dixie Highway) and Garvey Avenue. The total length of the project is about 400 feet. The area is experiencing a tremendous amount of Industrial economic growth and the existing structure is not wide enough to handle the anticipated semi-traffic safely. The selected design firm will need to include a new sidewalk connection to create a safe environment for pedestrians.
