County Route 119 Bridge Replacement over Canisteo River

Project includes the replacement of the two-span County Route 119 bridge (BIN 3334430) over the Canisteo River in the Town of Cameron. The existing bridge shall remain open during construction while the new bridge is constructed on new horizontal and vertical alignment. The new bridge will have a 190 foot long, two-span steel multi-girder and concrete deck superstructure founded on pile supported semi-integral concrete abutments and a concrete pier. The project includes approximately 900 feet of approach roadway reconstruction, 300 feet of tributary stream diversion work, the relocation of an at-grade railroad crossing and associated warning devices (by others), and the removal of the existing 170 foot long, two-span pony truss with timber deck on concrete abutments and a concrete pier.
