Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement to replace the existing fifty (50) foot flagpole, foundation and surrounding concrete apron and sidewalk located at building 990 with a new sixty (60) foot fiberglass groundset flagpole. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services as necessary to remove and replace the existing fifty (50) foot steel flagpole with a new sixty (60) foot groundset fiberglass flagpole as detailed in the applicable documents described in section 2.0 of this statement of work. The work shall include, but not be limited to: - Removal and on-site recycling of existing steel flagpole. - Removal and disposal of existing concrete foundation, adjoining concrete apron and sidewalk. - Excavation and installation of new concrete foundation, apron and sidewalk. - Soil testing and disposal of excavated soils. - Placement of screened loam to grade along perimeter of concrete apron and sidewalk. - Placement of screened loam and seed at all disturbed areas. - Disposal of all removed equipment, excess material, debris and packaging off government property. - All incidental related work items necessary for proper operation of the equipment and completion of the project.
