| Description | The contractor shall provide a bird netting deterrent system that will discourage and keeps birds from nesting in the canopy for the navy lodge. Bird netting shall be knotted, U.V. resistant polyethylene material in a matte black finish. Netting twine shall have a knotted breaking strength of at least 75 lbs. with a maximum ¾” square mesh size. The cable framework shall be a maximum 1/16” diameter stainless steel and shall be supported by stainless steel reversible screw eyes with an inside eye diameter not exceeding 3/16”. Netting to framework connectors shall be stainless steel crimps with a maximum closed inside diameter of 3/16 “. Access panels will need to be installed to allow for light maintenance.
