Almond Creek Interceptor Creek Crossing Replacement and Creek Stabilization

Goal: MBE/ESB - 15%. The work to be done under this Contract includes the following, along with all appurtenant work including but not limited to: the installation of 30-inch ductile iron sewer pipe by both guided boring and open-cut method, manholes, bulkheads, connection to an existing siphon inlet structure, bypass pumping of sewage, stream flow diversion, dewatering, soil and erosion measures during construction, excavation and backfill, installation of reinforced concrete encasement around the sewer pipe, sewer removal and abandonment, creek stabilization which includes gabions, geotechnical fabric, graded gravel, and rip rap captured between gabions, and bank stabilization which includes gabions, geotechnical fabric, graded gravel, and rip rap over a graded slope. These work elements include the protection of existing structures and utilities intended to remain, bypass pumping, dewatering and temporary services to maintain sanitary sewers in service at all times and performing the work.
