Cut-off for RFIs 02-23-23 at 2:00 PM Project Number - 2293 Project Description: Flint has been selected as the General Contractor for this Lease-Leaseback project. The project consists of the construction of a new 28,000 SF, 355-Seat Theater, and associated site improvements at Estancia High School. This new facility will consist of a theater with a flexible black box theater with occupancy of up to 283 and seating up to 150. It also includes a Lobby and additional support spaces. Flint requires that all subcontractors have and maintain a valid and active California State Contractors license at the time of bid and throughout the duration of the project while under contract to perform their scope(s) of work. All subcontractors submitting bids on Public Works Projects must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Flint requires a Waiver of Subrogation from all successful subcontractors. Flint requires a completed prequalification questionnaire from all subcontractors prior to issuance of a subcontract. This information can be found in the Front End Bid Documents Flints Standard Form of Agreement (Subcontract) will be used for this project. Execution of Subcontract is required by all successful bidders. A copy of Flints Subcontract is available in the Front End Bid Documents. Bonding: N ot required for subcontractors who are prequalified with Flint. Submission of a bid or proposal to Flint represents an acknowledgement that the bidding entity has reviewed all of the bid documents, including addenda. Disadvantaged subcontractors and vendors certified by the State of California and/or US Federal Government are strongly encouraged to submit bids. This project includes a 3.0% DVBE goal for subcontractors and Material Suppliers. This project includes Skilled and Trained Work Force requirements per CA Public Contract Code.
