Z--Jupiter Lighthouse Restroom Renovation

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for the Jupiter Lighthouse Restroom Renovation. The project is located at 600 State Road 707, Unit B Jupiter, Florida 33469. This requirement is for renovating an existing 1960’s single story, three-bedroom concrete masonry home, which is a contributing factor to an eligible Historic District, in order to provide an assembly space for meetings and public restrooms for visitors to the Jupiter Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area. (ONA). The scope of work defined by the contract documents includes: General Contractor to demolish all existing interior walls and construct new wall partitions as indicated in the contract documents. Selective demolish of exterior elements will be required for new windows and new exterior door installation for new restroom access. New concrete masonry screen walls are to be constructed at exterior restroom doors. A new ADA ramp will be constructed at the main entrance of the building. General Contractor to replace existing roof with a new standing seam metal roof. New millwork with a sink to be provided in a kitchenette off the main assembly space. A folding partition wall to be provided to divide the main assembly space into two separate areas when needed. All new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment to be installed.
