Description

The contractor shall provide inspection and certification for biological safety cabinets TB isolation, general isolation room, separative enclosures and glove box. The contractor shall provide microbial testing to include mold and yeast utilizing malt agar. The testing shall also include United States Pharmaceutical (USP) 797 in pharmacy locations. The current vendor, Safety Plus, performs semi-annual certification of all biological safety cabinets and negative pressure isolation rooms. Periodic decontamination and maintenance/repair of biological safety cabinets is also performed. In addition, microbiological and USP 797 is performed monthly in the pharmacy.
