Description

Construction services for the removal of the A.P. Hill Statue, removal of the A.P. Hill Grave, removal of at least seven and as many as nine monument pedestal bases, hauling and storage of monument pedestals and stone work, and the relocation, hauling and storage of existing cast iron statues previously removed and in storage. The general contractor selected for this project shall provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to, the careful disassembling of stone work, careful removal of statue pedestal railings, use of heavy equipment (cranes, flatbeds, earthwork equipment), traffic protection and signage, Work In Street Permits associated with the required traffic control plans and traffic control equipment, building demolition permits, and electrical power disconnection.
