Description

This work is the in-place construction of a Reclaimed Asphalt Base Course, using either reclaimed asphalt pavement material and existing road base material combined with virgin aggregates and/or bituminous material. It is the intent of this contract to recycle 100% of the existing asphalt pavement and part or all of the existing base course to ensure that the completed reclaimed base course will be of a consistent material and thickness throughout. This will include, but is not limited to, all existing asphalt pavement adjacent to all concrete curbing, storm sewer inlets, manholes, and all utility valve boxes.
