BCPWD 22/23-13 Mowing, Trimming, and Litter Removal

A. Unit bid cost shall be based on three (3) complete mowing cycles for county roads; And five (5) complete mowing cycles on KYTC Roads. Tentative schedule for County Road Mowing Cycles: 1. 1st Cycle – Last week of August 2. 2nd Cycle – Third week of October 3. 3rd Cycle – Third week of May Note: the five (5) mowing cycles for KYTC Roads shall be completed in coordination with and at the same time as the Boone County Interstate Highway mowing cycles on KYTC R/W. B. Number of mowing cycles shall be at the discretion of Boone County Public Works. C. Contractor responsible for all utility locations, needed signage and traffic control per Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) current addition. D. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of any vegetation or debris thrown onto roadway or shoulder by mowing operation. The term of this contract shall be for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
