Description | The DCSA requirement will result in a non-personal services contract to provide physical security monitoring and maintenance services at DCSA facilities. The Government shall not exercise direct supervision over the contractor’s employees performing the services, the Contractor employee shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. DCSA employs electronic physical security equipment at 112 facilities CONUS/OCONUS (Alaska), and has a requirement for a contract to provide maintenance, monitoring and training of these physical security systems on a 24-hour per day basis as an On-Call service. The Contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform maintenance, upgrades/decommission and monitoring of existing and new physical security systems. The Contractor shall provide the following services below: Transition Access Control Closed Circuit Television Systems Intrusion Detection Life safety Detection Equipment Monitoring Operations System Maintenance Access The Contractor will be responsible to assure all technicians meet all training and certification standards for installation of National Industrial Security Systems for Protection of Classified Material (UL2050). The Contractor shall issue the UL2050 certification for any site that is operating at that level. The Contractor’s Central Monitoring facility shall meet qualifications identified by the National Industrial Security Systems for Protection of Classified Material (UL2050). |
