Description

This is a single award Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract (Base Year + 2 Option Years) which encompasses a broad range of Telecommunications and Data Drops work. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Infrastructure Management Group primary responsibility is the installation and maintenance of all Horizontal, Vertical and VA owned Cable Plant cabling (copper & fiber) to support Telecommunications/Local Area Network (LAN) closets, TeleConference (VTC), work area outlets and Cable Television (CATV) outlets at the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO). These tasks encompass all on-site and off-site facilities in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area totaling 18 buildings, 12,000 communications outlets, 1548 multi-mode and 84 single mode Fiber Optic strands to date.
