The CWA and CWA Letter of Assent are incorporated into the Contract Documents in the Supplemental Conditions, Attachments A and B. Each Bidder must submit the completed and executed CWA Letter of Assent concurrently with submitting its Bid Proposal. All Subcontractors must complete and execute the CWA Letter of Assent as a condition to performing any Work on the Project. Failure of any Bidders to submit the completed Letter of Assent form with its Bid Proposal will result in rejection of the Bidder's Bid Proposal for non-responsiveness. Each Bidder submitting a proposal to complete the work, labor, materials, and/or services ("Work") subject to this procurement must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. A Bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for the Work is deemed "not qualified" and the proposal of such a Bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. This project requires that the Contractor and any subcontractor(s) shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract.
