Description

Original Set Aside: Partial Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) These IDIQ contracts are intended to provide multidisciplinary services in order to enable GSA to provide effective, mobile, and sustainable workplace solutions for federal agencies. The IDIQ will integrate architectural, engineering, and interior design services to supplement existing contract vehicles. The IDIQ will provide complete design services for all phases of design, including but not limited to requirements development, preliminary concepts, final concepts, design development, and construction documents. The scope may also be used for other regional A/E/I needs. The following denotes potential areas of expertise anticipated to be needed for performance under this IDIQ, though not all are represented: Potential pre-design services: requirements assessments, feasibility studies, program development studies, housing plans Potential design services: interior design, interior space planning, architecture and engineering for all design phases, furniture design, project budget and cost estimating Potential post-design services: bid phase services, construction administration move and relocation services, post-occupancy analysis Potential studies, analysis and report services: change management, migration plans, building analysis, space analysis, fire protection and life safety analysis, environmental hazards reports, conveyance system studies, building preservation plans, security studies, forecasted future analysis, building design standards, building drawings In performance of the contract, selected A/E firms may be required to include a broad range of architectural and engineering disciplines/services in order to accomplish the task orders under this contract. These may include, but are not limited to: Architecture Interior Architecture and Design Workplace Research, Engagement & Strategy Wellness and Healthy Buildings Change Management Technology Integration with Future Ways of Working Energy Utilization & Sustainability Historic Preservation Building Retrofit and Adaptive Reuse Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Lighting Design Acoustic Design and Engineering Structural & Civil Engineering Fire Protection and Life Safety Security Seismic & Blast Urban, Site and Landscape Design Feasibility, Preplanning, and Concept Studies Integrated Real Estate Portfolio and Master Planning Field Investigation, Existing Site & Building Surveys Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents Cost Estimating and Value Engineering Constructability Review and Evaluation Construction Management and Inspection Services Building and System Commissioning Vertical Transportation
