On-Call Design, Engineering, Construction, Inspection, and Administrative Services

Howard County is looking to secure professional services to provide on-call construction, design, engineering and administrative services for projects whose individual value is under $1,000,000.00. The County intends to establish on-call service contracts with teams of General Contractors and their Design Contractors (here in after refer to their team as “Contractor”) lead by the General Contractor to provide Design-Build services on an as-needed basis. The County intends to issue separate Purchase Orders for each project. Issuance of Purchase Orders will be contingent upon appropriation of funds. Furthermore, the County makes no commitment if, or when, a Purchase Order will be issued, the specific number of Purchase Orders, or the value or total dollar value of work to be awarded under a Purchase Order. Typical task projects assigned under the contract may include, but are not limited to design-build and improvements of verity of the infrastructures with in the County right of way such as slope protections, retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, culverts, road intersections, road drainage and emergency repairs.
