Description | Surfacing of a basketball court and replacement of (1) Tennis Net Footing Post at Farqhar Park. Secure the most qualified Contractor to assist the Town by filling and patching existing cracks, painting and lining a basketball court and replacing (1) Tennis Net Footing Post The objective of this request for proposal is to receive cost estimates from qualified firms for work to include: Basketball Court: 1. Clean court surfaces with pressure washer and cleaning solution 2. Clean and seal all cracks using a fabric overlay product. Specify manufacturer, product and warranty. 3. Apply one (1) coat of sand filled acrylic resurfacer according to manufacturer’s directions and application rates to both of the entire court surfaces as a filler coat Playing Surface - Louisville Red (or equivalent) Accent – Graphite (or equivalent) Border – Grey (or equivalent) Specify manufacturer, product and warranty. 4. Apply two (2) coats of sand filled acrylic color concentrate according to manufacturer’s directions and application rates to both of the entire court surface as a finish coat. Specify manufacturer, product and warranty. 5. Apply fourth coat (Graphite color) of the acrylic color concentrate in the keys on the basketball court to prevent excessive wear. 6. Layout, tape and hand-paint 2” wide playing lines on courts using textured acrylic white line paint. Tennis Court: 1. Remove (1) existing Net Post Footing 2. Replace (1) Net Post Footing. Footing should be bell shaped, concrete approximately 18” x 3’ deep. 3. Existing tennis post will be reused. 4. Rout and fill structural cracks with crack repair system. (Specify Manufacturer product and warranty) in the area of the Net Post Footing. 5. Touch up colors and lines in the area of Net Post Footing. |
