Headquarters Well Evaluation & Rehabilitation

The primary purpose of this project is to evaluate and improve the condition of the sole public groundwater supply well at Capitol Reef National Park (CARE). Tasks required to complete this project include removal of the existing well equipment (e.g., two submersible pumps/motors, drop pipes, and cables), well rehabilitation (e.g., brushing, bailing, and/or jetting), pre- and post-rehabilitation video camera surveys, installation of a sounding pipe, reinstallation of existing well equipment, and disinfection of the well. Among other requirements described herein, the contractor will also be required to submit a report describing the camera surveys and well rehabilitation methods, results, and conclusions.
