| Description | Work includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of approximately 1,025 feet of 8-inch cast iron gravity sewer with 8-inch SDR 26 PVC. The gravity mains are at depths ranging from approximately 7 feet to 13 feet. The work also includes mechanically cleaning a portion of a gravity sewer that includes approximately 203 feet of 8-inch clay pipe and 125 feet of 8-inch cast iron pipe; only the cast iron portion is to be mechanically cleaned. Subsequently the main will be inspected and the clay and cast iron pipe will be lined by Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP). |
