Landfill Cell 2A Expansion Construction

Abbeville County will be accepting Bids for the Cell 2A Construction and related infrastructure at the County Class Three Landfill at 1094 Gassoway Farm Road, Abbeville, South Carolina. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Erosion and Sedimentation Controls; o Site preparation; o Unclassified Excavation; o Placement of Structural Fill; o Culvert Installation; o Composite Liner System Construction; o Leachate Collection and Conveyance System Construction; o Revegetation; and, o Stormwater Conveyance Channels The right to reject any or all bids and proposals, and to waive informalities in bids is reserved. Questions submitted by email to LaBella Associates Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 4:00 PM The successful bidder shall be a Contractor, who has experience with landfill construction, Subtitle D composite liner systems, leachate collection and conveyance systems, and familiar with the particular requirements of landfill construction. Associated General Contractors (AGC) Form 220 will be used to evaluate the Bidder's experience record. At least two (2) Subtitle D composite liner projects totaling 500,000 square feet of constructed liner within the last five (5) years is required to have been successfully completed by the CONTRACTOR or his subcontractors in addition to the requirements of the installer as set out in the specifications. A South Carolina General Contractor License is required for this project Construction Cost Range: 1.5 - 2.7M *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
