West Wind Park Walking Trail

The intent of this project is to construct approximately 2,600 linear feet (LF) asphalt walking path. The work includes, but it not limited to, the following: 1. Construction of an 8’ foot wide asphalt walking trail. 2. Removal of existing sidewalks, shrubs etc. and regrading of existing elevations, as required 3. Soil Compaction and testing per manufacturers details. 4. Installation of new landscaping and/or irrigation, where applicable. 5. Restoration of disturbed areas including sod replacement as necessary. 6. Contractor shall comply with all manufacturer specifications. 7. Contractor shall perform work in accordance with City requirements. 8. Contractor shall inspect site and make recommendations for proper construction. 9. Disposal of all waste and debris shall be the responsibility of the contractor. 10. Contractor shall properly notify any and all parties that will be affected by the construction (i.e. residents), in coordination with the City. 11. Contractor shall maintain adequate Maintenance of Traffic and properly notify those entities that may be affected (commuters, Police, Fire, School Board, Broward County Transit, etc.) in coordination with the City.
