Houston County Community Connection Food and Fitness Center Renovations

This project is funded under a Grant Contract with the State of Tennessee. The grant funding will be used to renovate the existing old jail facility located on Hill Street in Erin, TN, for the purpose of converting it to the Houston County Community Connection Food & Fitness Center. In order to comply with grant requirements and budget, the County will be renovating this building through a combination of its own forces, which will include County maintenance staff and/or Houston County Sheriffs Office inmate trustee labor, and a private Contractor, to be selected herein. Portions of the work will be performed by the Countys forces. Other items as detailed in the scope of work below will be performed by the selected Contractor. Additionally, certain items of materials and equipment may be purchased directly by the County upon coordination with the selected Contractor. Houston County requests sealed proposals from qualified companies for renovations in connection with the Houston County Community Connection Food and Fitness Center.
