Professional Architectural and Engineering Design Services for Avalon and Meadowbrook Middle Schools Capital Renewal Project

Major elements of the project include: Avalon Middle School 1) Demo existing roofing and insulation to deck (evaluate feasibility of reusing existing insulation). Select repair of roof decking as needed. 2) Reroof approximately 140,000 SF of existing Modified Bitumen (Mod Bit) roofing with single ply roofing Meadowbrook Middle School 1) Demo existing roofing and insulation to deck (evaluate feasibility of reusing existing insulation). Select repair of roof decking as needed. 2) Reroof approximately 150,000 SF of existing Modified Bitumen (Mod Bit) roofing with single ply roofing. Expected deliverables include, but are not limited to: Scope Validation Report, Estimates, Design and Construction Documents, Phasing Plans, Design Calculations, Project Schedules, a Consolidated Punch List, Record Drawings, and Final Close-Out Documentation. Although not anticipated, if the design results in a repurposing and/or reconfiguration of existing spaces, updated FISH Plans and OEF 208A Form will also be an expected deliverable. The A/E team shall provide all professional services to deliver to the Owner a safe, finished, and fully functioning facility within the estimated construction budget.
