Reconstruction SW 1st Street From SW Avenue F South to Termination

Contractor to provide a lumpsum bid for improvements to SW 1st street beginning at SW Ave F intersection to South end of SW 1st Street (730L.F.) Finish asphalt width to be 22 Ft (Wide) Contractor to include the following items in their bid: 1. MOT 2. Mobilization 3. Permit/Fees (city of Belle Glade) 4. Removal of any unusual materials (I.e., Asphalt, Much, etc.) 5. Base Rock density testing 6. Surveying/Layout 7. Remove/ export existing asphalt pavement. 8. Construct minimum 24” compacted lime rock base 22ft wide plus 6” outside of asphalt (Total width 23Ft.) 1. Compact/ finish grade to 98% density in 8” lifts. 2. Asphalt pavement 730’ X 22’ 1st lift 1 ½ “ 8P structural course 2nd lift 1” FC 9.5 friction course a tack coat pavement to have max 1% cross slope from center line to E.O. P. 3. Provide asphalt transition into all existing driveways. 4. Adjust manhole / valve boxes as needed. 5. Provide 4” painted white E.O.A. stripes and 4” painted yellow center skip line. 6. Provide a 2 ½ “stop bar and double yellow stripping at: intersection of Ave F (thermoplastic) 7. Provide / plane clean fill material along edge of new pavement to provide map. 4:1 transition slope onto adjacent properties. 8. Install 2 ft wide sod strip along edge of new pavement.
