Hydrogeologic and Engineering Services for Injection Well Infrastructure

Hydrogeological services during construction for Injection Well Projects. The selected Consultant will provide support to WASD in overseeing the construction of injection wells at its wastewater treatment facilities. These services include, but are not limited to, review of specifications/plans, review of drilling contractor submittals, preparation of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Underground Injection Control (UIC) reports, oversight of drilling and testing activities, logging and interpretation of geological cores and geophysical logs, review and interpretation of geographical data, preparation of casing, cementing, and other logs, enforcement of FDEP UIC permit conditions, and project management. Injection wells refer to UIC Class I or Class V Exploratory wells that are drilled into the Lower Floridian Aquifer including the Boulder Zone and Cretaceous formations beneath the Lower Floridian Aquifer.
