Replacement of Main Street Bridge (Structure No. 1520-003), Main Street (C.R. 613) over Waretown Creek

The work to be performed under this Contract consists ofthe complete replacement ofthe existing 18, long, single-span, timber bridge with a single barrel 10, x 7, precast concrete box culvert with precast concrete wingwalls, toewalls, and cast-in-place headwalls. The work also includes the removal of the existing non-utilized sandstone abutment walls, installation ofpermanent sheet piling, reconstruction of approach roadway pavement, minor drainage work, curbing, sidewalk, and new guide rail. All work is to be done utilizing a complete road closure while maintaining access at all times to the adjacent OCUA pump station and private marina.
