Description

Installation of a composite fiber wrap on an existing 42" ductile iron raw water pipe. The 42" water line rehabilitation project shall include at a minimum the components listed below: 1. Removal and proper disposal of existing carbon fiber wrap. 2. Sufficient surface preparation that consists of cleaning, pressure washing, grinding, abrasive blasting etc. to ensure proper adhesion of composite fiber wrap. 3. Application of a 2-part epoxy anticorrosion coating. 4. Application of composite fiber wrap rated for 35 psi of expected maximum head pressure. 5. Application of a paintable top coating.
