Quad Residence Halls Comprehensive Renovations Phase 1

Renovation of the existing Harper and Broun Residence Halls. Interior work includes finish carpentry, doors and frames, gypsum wallboard assemblies, plaster repairs, ceramic tiling, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, interior painting, building specialties, and countertops. Exterior work includes masonry cleaning, partial roof replacement, sheet metal flashing and trim, wood trim replacement, replacement of main entry doors, window repairs, window replacement, and exterior painting. Renovation of existing elevators, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and communications. Site improvements include storm drainage, and concrete pavement for sidewalks and ramps. Pipe and tube railings to be replaced at ramps and steps. The Quad Residence Hall Renovations are intended to repair and renovate the major systems and finishes of the #1 most-desired housing are on Auburn University's main campus. The intent of this renovation is to allow the University to further its’ goal of offering quality housing to incoming first year freshman that desire to live on campus. The project budget is estimated to be $12,350,000 per phase for each of the five phases, for an estimated total project cost of $61,750,000.
