Lee County Player Development Complex and Youth Baseball Fields (CMAR)

Construction Manager (CM) to provide construction management services for the expansion of the Player Development Complex located at 4301 Edison Ave. Fort Myers, Florida 33916. The existing Lee County Players Development Complex is approximately 62 acres. The complex currently includes five baseball fields with bullpens; eight batting tunnels; a clubhouse; and a locker room with showers, weight rooms etc. The improvement of additional fields will be located adjacent to the existing complex on lands currently being utilized for horticultural waste. Lee County BOCC has commissioned an environmental study on the proposed site. For informational purposes only a copy is provided herein. The project shall include but is not limited to: The addition of six (6) to eight (8) youth baseball fields to the south of Edison Avenue as Phase I of the project. The outfield fence will be approximately 300 linear feet from home plate for adult softball and older age divisions of baseball, with the ability to install a temporary fencing system at 250 linear feet. Construction of permanent restroom facilities. Construction of vehicle parking spaces. Field lighting for new baseball fields as well as lighting for the existing five (5) fields located north of Edison Avenue. Construction of maintenance space and additional storage spaces. All work pertinent to this project shall comply with local, State and Federal rules and regulations current at the time of permitting.
