| Description | The project consists of replacing 4”, 6” and 10” diameter p.v.c. sewage force mains with 6” and 12” diameter (H.D.P.E. or P.V.C. C-900) 1,178’ and 2,703’ long force mains. The improvements will also include: the installation of plug, check, and air release valves, the interconnection with the existing pump station lines, the pavement and swale restoration. The project presents two alternatives to replace the force main: Alternative I-Pipe Bursting Technology, Alternative II-Open Trench Installation. Bidders can provide a bid for either Alternative or both will be acceptable |
