Description

SYNOPSIS FOR BULK CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS The Range & Training Area Management Division aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina requires approximately 7,000 tons combined of four differing bulk construction materials: Limestone Aggregate Base Course (ABC) Stone, #57 stone (Bluerock), Class "B" Rip-Rap and washed sand. The requirement will include delivery and drop off at differing sites aboard MCB Camp Lejeune and to Stone Bay, Weapons Training Battalion. This will be set aside 100% for historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for these requirements is 212321, Construction Sand and Gravel Mining, under PSC 5610: Mineral and Construction Mining, Bulk. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm fixed price contract. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. This synopsis is not a request for quotes. The Solicitation number M6700123Q0006 will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov.
