RFP Design - Multipurpose Addition - Wilson Center - Downtown Campus

Cape Fear Community College is seeking proposals from qualified Design Teams to design a new building and associated site, located at CFCCs Wilmington NC Campus. An approximately 2000 sf addition to the existing Wilson Center, Which is CFCCs performing arts center and arts/humanities education building, and an approximately 2000sf interior renovation in the lobby. The Addition will be within an existing courtyard completely enclosed by the existing building. It will house a lounge/meeting/multipurpose area, bathroom(s) and catering support with associated mechanical support spaces. The interior renovations will house guest services for the theater, lobby support storage spaces for metal detectors, wheelchairs and similar items, and an office area. Services needed may include production of interior and exterior renderings for use in Owners fundraising efforts. As of June 18, 2021, an issuance of draft request for proposal to short-listed firms has not been released. The design firm selection timeline has not been disclosed. The construction timeline has not been released. **Bid Packet will not be available until the Pre-Proposal Meeting and all Contractors need to attend. They won't provide bid packet to those who won't join the said meeting.
